Tropicana Cookies is an easy strain to grow, suitable for beginners and experienced growers alike. It thrives equally well indoors and outdoors thanks to its compact stature and resilience, and it finishes in 8 to 9 weeks from seed.

Grow tips:

  • Branch management. Gently tie down branches to increase airflow and reduce the risk of mould.
  • Flushing. Implement a thorough flush one to two weeks before harvest to improve flavour and aroma.
  • Temperature. Ideal temperatures are between 20°C and 26°C for optimal growth and resin production.
Storage and Germination

Storage: keep the seed in a cool, dark place, preferably in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Not the freezer.

Germination: use the glass or tissue method.

  • Glass method: soak the seed in a glass of room-temperature water for 12 to 24 hours. If the first root hasn't appeared yet, move it onto moist tissue. Never leave a seed in water for more than 48 hours.
  • Tissue method: place the seed between two sheets of moist tissue in a warm, dark place and check daily.
  • Once the first root (taproot) appears, transfer the seed to soil.
  • Seeds sown directly into soil are not covered by our germination guarantee.
