Why Choose Californian Snow Auto
  1. Authentic 420 FastBuds genetics. A classic Cali sativa crossed with elite FastBuds autoflower lines, from a named breeder.
  2. A single seed to try before you commit. At €9 this is the cheapest way into branded genetics we offer, and it is designed for exactly that: sampling a strain before buying a larger pack.
  3. An unusual flavour. Sweet-and-sour apple with a candy character and a crisp fruity finish. Nothing else in our range tastes like it.
  4. Genuinely frosty. Dense, sticky buds under a thick coat of white trichomes, which is where the name comes from.
  5. Suited to Malta's climate. It adapts well to Mediterranean conditions, so it works outdoors here.
  6. Beginner-friendly and resilient, provided you have the vertical space.
Growth and Cultivation

This sativa-dominant autoflower forms a large central cola with frosty side branches. It grows up to 1.3 m indoors and taller outdoors, and it is ready for harvest in 9 to 10 weeks, adapting well to Malta's Mediterranean climate.

Grower tips:

  1. Indoor growers should allow at least 2 m of vertical space.
  2. Outdoors, use stakes to support the heavy colas.
  3. It is resilient and beginner-friendly, which makes it suitable for first-time growers with the space for it.
Storage and Germination

Storage: keep the seed in a cool, dark place, preferably in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Not the freezer.

Germination: use the glass or tissue method.

  • Glass method: soak the seed in a glass of room-temperature water for 12 to 24 hours. If the first root hasn't appeared yet, move it onto moist tissue. Never leave a seed in water for more than 48 hours.
  • Tissue method: place the seed between two sheets of moist tissue in a warm, dark place and check daily.
  • Once the first root (taproot) appears, transfer the seed to soil.
  • Seeds sown directly into soil are not covered by our germination guarantee.

Product FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

How tall does it grow?

Up to 1.3 m indoors and taller outdoors. Indoors you should allow at least 2 m of vertical space, which is more than a standard grow tent provides.

Is it suitable for a first-time grower?

It is resilient and beginner-friendly to grow, but the height is the constraint rather than the technique. If you have the vertical space, yes. If you are working in a standard tent, one of our compact strains will suit better.

Can I grow it outdoors here?

Yes, and it is arguably the better option given the height. It adapts well to Malta's Mediterranean climate. Use stakes to support the heavy colas.

Why is it called Californian Snow?

The buds carry such a thick coat of white trichomes that the flowers look snow-capped.

How many seeds are in a pack?

One. It is designed for trying a strain before committing to a larger pack.

What does it taste like?

Sweet-and-sour apple with a candy character, smooth and refreshing, with a crisp fruity finish.

Is the delivery packaging discreet?

Yes. Orders arrive in plain outer packaging with no reference to the contents, delivered across Malta with cash on delivery available.
