Motorbreath produces dense, resin-covered buds and grows vigorously in both environments. Indoors it adapts to a variety of training techniques and yields up to 650 g/m². Outdoors it becomes a large plant, reaching 2.5 to 3 metres and producing up to 900 grams each, which makes it the biggest and the most productive seed we sell. It combines the traits of both parents and it is forgiving of inexperience.

Cultivation difficulty: beginner friendly. Forgiving, low maintenance, and it adapts well to a range of conditions.

Grower tips

• Plan for the size outdoors. At 2.5 to 3 metres this is the largest plant we sell, and a mature Motorbreath is not discreet. Decide where it goes before it goes in the ground.
• The flowering time is at the longer end. Nine to ten weeks indoors is longer than most seeds we stock, so build that into an indoor cycle rather than assuming a fast turnaround.
• The outdoor harvest is early, which is the real advantage. The first two weeks of October puts the crop safely ahead of the autumn.

Storage: for long-term storage, keep the seeds in a cool, dark, airtight container in the refrigerator. Not the freezer.

Germination: the paper towel method is a proven technique.

1. Place the seeds between two moist paper towels.
2. Keep them in a warm, dark environment.
3. Check daily, and transfer to soil once the taproot emerges.
