Growth and Cultivation

Critical Kush grows into short to medium-height indica plants with strong branching and dense buds. Indoors it flowers in 55 to 60 days and yields up to 650 g/m². Outdoors it thrives in warm Mediterranean climates. It is beginner-friendly and reliable.

Grower tips:

  • Its strong branching carries the dense buds, which means it needs less structural support than heavier plants of similar size.
  • It responds well to organic living soil systems, which helps terpene expression and resin production.
  • Outdoors it wants a warm Mediterranean climate, which suits a Maltese season.
Storage and Germination

Storage: for long-term storage, keep the seeds in a cool, dark, airtight container in the refrigerator. Not the freezer.

Germination: use the glass or tissue method.

  • Glass method: soak the seed in a glass of room-temperature water for 12 to 24 hours. If the first root hasn't appeared yet, move it onto moist tissue. Never leave a seed in water for more than 48 hours.
  • Tissue method: place the seed between two sheets of moist tissue in a warm, dark place and check daily.
  • Once the first root (taproot) appears, transfer the seed to soil.
  • Seeds sown directly into soil are not covered by our germination guarantee.

Product FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it related to Peyote Critical?

Yes. Peyote Critical is bred from Peyote Purple crossed with Critical Kush, so this strain is one of its parents.

How does it compare to the other indicas we stock?

It sits at the far end of the range. Purple Punch is 90% indica, Pineapple Chunk and Peyote Critical are 80%. This is stated as 100%, and its Kush profile of earthy pine and lemon is distinct from the berry, grape and coffee profiles elsewhere in the range.

Is it suitable for a first-time grower?

Yes. It is beginner-friendly and reliable, and its strong branching means it supports its own buds without much intervention.

Does it need any particular soil?

It responds well to organic living soil systems, which helps terpene expression and resin production.

Can I grow it outdoors in Malta?

Yes. Outdoor plants thrive in warm Mediterranean climates, which describes a Maltese season well.

How strong is Critical Kush?

Up to 25% THC, with 1.8% CBD.

Is the delivery packaging discreet?

Yes. Orders arrive in plain outer packaging with no reference to the contents, delivered across Malta with cash on delivery available.
