Growth and Cultivation

Blueberry OG is easy to grow and forgiving, with high resistance outdoors. It flowers in 55 to 65 days and yields up to 700 g/m² with proper care.

Indoor cultivation:

  • Provide strong LED grow lights and good airflow.
  • Use high-quality organic soil, which helps preserve the terpenes.

Outdoor cultivation:

  • Plant in well-draining, nutrient-rich soil.
  • It is ideal in Mediterranean or warm climates, which suits a Maltese season.
  • Watch for pests, and consider organic pesticides if they appear.
  • Harvest in early October in the Northern Hemisphere.
Storage and Germination

Storage: for long-term storage, keep the seeds in a cool, dark, airtight container in the refrigerator. Not the freezer.

Germination: use the glass or tissue method.

  • Glass method: soak the seed in a glass of room-temperature water for 12 to 24 hours. If the first root hasn't appeared yet, move it onto moist tissue. Never leave a seed in water for more than 48 hours.
  • Tissue method: place the seed between two sheets of moist tissue in a warm, dark place and check daily.
  • Once the first root (taproot) appears, transfer the seed to soil.
  • Seeds sown directly into soil are not covered by our germination guarantee.
