1. Very high potency. Up to 29% THC, second only to Guava Auto in our range.
2. A flavour nothing else here has. Sweet and sour apple with a cinnamon finish, closer to a dessert than to fruit.
3. Compact for its yield. 80 to 120 cm producing up to 550 g/m², thanks to short internodal spacing.
4. Buy one seed or three. Try it first, or commit.
5. Easy to grow, with high yields and no light schedule to manage.
6. It tells you when it is ready. The leaves turn yellow, orange and red as the cycle ends, and the buds develop purplish hues.
7. Responds well to training. Sea of Green and high stress training both work on this plant.

Apple Strudel Auto develops short internodal spacing and relatively short side branches, which is what gives it a compact appearance despite reaching 120 cm. It produces frosty, rock-hard buds in light green, taking on purplish hues towards the end of flowering. As the plant nears the end of its cycle the lush green leaves turn yellow, orange and red, which is a useful visual marker of how far along it is.

Cultivation difficulty: easy. High yields with minimal complication, and no light schedule to manage.

• Timing. 9 to 10 weeks from seed to harvest. This is an autoflower, so it flowers on its own schedule.
• Yield. 400 to 550 g/m² indoors, or 50 to 250 g per plant outdoors.
• Size. 80 to 120 cm, which suits a standard tent.

Grower tips

• Sea of Green suits it. The compact structure and short side branches make SOG an effective way to optimise yield in a limited space.
• It handles high stress training if you want to push it further, though it does not need it.
• Manage airflow, and defoliate gently. Strategic placement or a robust oscillating fan keeps air moving, and periodic gentle defoliation improves both airflow and light penetration to the lower growth, which reduces the risk of mould.
• Watch the leaves for ripeness. The colour change from green to yellow, orange and red tracks the end of the cycle.

Storage: for long-term storage, keep the seeds in a cool, dark, airtight container in the refrigerator. Not the freezer.

Germination: use the glass or tissue method.

• Glass method: soak the seed in a glass of room-temperature water for 12 to 24 hours. If the first root hasn't appeared yet, move it onto moist tissue. Never leave a seed in water for more than 48 hours.
• Tissue method: place the seed between two sheets of moist tissue in a warm, dark place and check daily.
• Once the first root (taproot) appears, transfer the seed to soil.
• Seeds sown directly into soil are not covered by our germination guarantee.
